This piece was made in 2006 to accompany a stunning frock designed by Craig Braybrook for a presitigious competiton that used to run in Melbourne, The Gown of the Year Awards. Craig took out the Professional Designer Award, which was a really big deal! Remininiscent of the 1920's, this shape can be worn to either side (unintentional design feature!); beautiful french beaded lace over silk in gorgeous olive and green tones with a shot metal organza flower and finished with cascading swarovski crystals. Attaches to the head with a comb. Happy to add crin loops if pinning into a wig.
